Matt played at Lincoln Hall in Chicago on Sunday, opening for Chicago artist Andrew Bell. Alisha Espey (@MusicITZLife on Twitter) reviewed the show for her blog. Spend a little time poking around the blog…there’s some really cool stuff there!

There are so many things to quote from this review, but I think this probably sums things up for a lot of us

It’s so easy to become jaded and cynical. But Matt Hires reminded me why I love this business and the kind of music that matters to me. I feel like I owe him something for saving me.
