Matt twittered this pic tonight with the caption “Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na, Matt-maaaaan!” He later tweeted that he should have captioned it “Able to jump over the couch in a single bound.” What do you think the caption should be? Just post your suggestion in the comments!

zOmg! Video turned up after all at Mix 100.7 in Tampa. Woot!!11!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Here’s the site’s video. I haven’t had any luck getting more than 15 or 20 seconds of each clip to play (even though on the site they show up as having up to 3 minutes of video each), but maybe you’ll have better luck:
UPDATE: Hold tight. The radio station is going to re-upload the videos tomorrow…. Check back again.

Thanks to Jacob L for recording Matt’s set and to faith for lending out her camera and for taking the time to upload all the songs to her youtube account.
Here’s a particularly energetic version of Rock n Roll Heart. (I hope Matt gets Chris to record this with him duing their secret lair sessions. He’s awesome!)
Matt tweeted recently that he, Aaron, Bob and Chris were working on a secret project this weekend and tonight he tweeted a picture of the secret lair where the secret project is taking place. Oh what could it be? Recording, yes? The tweeted pic would seem to indicate there was serious musicianship involved. But recording what? I Always Lose When I Gamble On You, possibly? A full band rendition of A to B and Rock n Roll Heart, maybe? New material we haven’t heard? A collection of heart-warming Christmas carols? Hopefully the answers to these mysteries will be revealed soon… Meanwhile, check out their awesome studio and that incredible carpet over there with what looks like impossibly flat guitars:

Matt was in the studio at 100.7 in Tampa yesterday morning. They haven’t posted any video or audio but there are a couple of photo galleries on tampabaysmix.com. It looks like there was some Q&A, so I hope that some video surfaces.
Our friend Robin shared this link of a recent review of Matt’s show in Birmingham.
In addition to playing his own material, he also played a Beatles cover: You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away. Hard to go wrong with a Beatles cover, as long as you can deliver, and Matt and the band delivered.
The blogger went to the show as a Joey Ryan fan, but left loving the main act as well (particularly crushing on Chris Miranda, I think).
